Clear Schedule 40 PVC pipe has excellent clarity and is recommended  for tubing containment, visual flow and leak detection, and sight glasses.  PVC Schedule 40 provides a versatile,  cost-effective alternative for many piping applications, particularly  those where visual monitoring of processes is critical.  Clear PVC is corrosion-resistant, has smooth interior walls, is  non-contaminating, has good pressure-bearing capability, uses reliable solvent-welded connections, and is easy to handle and install.

Clear Schedule 80 PVC pipe is manufactured to provide sufficient wall  thickness for most pressure applications without jeopardizing clarity while maintaining its integrity in harsh environments. It  is suitable for use in both positive and negative pressure  applications (i.e., vacuum service).  Clear Schedule 80 PVC provides a versatile, cost-effective  alternative for many piping applications, particularly those where  visual monitoring of processes is critical.
